The whirlwind of the Stitches and Craft show is over and life is almost back to normal. This was my first show and I had a fantastic time, even if the show wasn't quite as big or busy as in previous years (or so people kept telling me). I loved getting to meet so many interesting people, admiring handmade bags and clothes, sharing sewing tips and chatting about current and past projects. Actually I loved it so much I now have a vision of opening a little shop somewhere. Not a vision that is likely to happen in a hurry...but a lovely vision nonetheless :) A big thanks to everyone who came through and said hello. And an extra huge thanks to Meredith and Natasha who helped me at the stall, and my sister Jane for long distance phone support!

Of course the flip side of being able to meet my own customers was being able to be a customer at the many wonderful booths that were also at the show. I managed to bring home some wonderful booty which I will share tomorrow once everything is finally unpacked. I've nearly finished adding the new stock to the store which arrived before the show and I will have a couple of giveaways coming up soon - so watch this space!
