The latest Alexander Henry prints arrived late last week and I think they are my favourite prints for some time from Alexander Henry.


When I see this fabric I immediately think of aprons but since I didn’t have a kids apron pattern handy and I didn’t have much time I made this quick skirt. I think the simple design shows off the fabric beautifully – but the skirt I really want to make is this one (which Zoe still wears and loves by the way). Now that would be cute!!

Just a note on the colour of the prints on a pale background. The mushroom print is on cream, while the two fruit prints are on an off white which is very close to white (the only way I could work out that they weren’t white was to put them next to white Gutterman thread).
